For a long while, the moderation team had been in heated debates about whether or not there should be NSFW content allowed in The Cafe. It had been a fairly even split with champions for and against the category. It would likely have remained in that stalemate and continued to exist in perpetuity had the gooners stuck to normal hentai.
However, that all changed when both Bananders and Leaf needed to remove atrocities that should never have been created from the channel. It was at this point that the mods unanimously decided to purge the NSFW category completely from the server.
When Leaf happily removed the category, many gooners were left without a home, cursed to wander the wastelands of dead servers on Stoat hoping for some semblance of hentai to sate their thirst. Some users, like Sora (Gooner), left the platform completely because of this.
